Dr. Joshika B. Kanabar
Dr. Joshika B. Kanabar was born and raised in Bryan/College Station, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Biology and minoring in Spanish.
In 1999, she moved to Dallas to pursue her dental degree at Baylor College of Dentistry. By graduation, she had maintained a position on the Dean’s Honor List all four years, was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, and received the ADS Academic Achievement Award. During this time, she became passionate about the field of orthodontics and went on to complete the Baylor College of Dentistry orthodontics residency program and master’s degree in 2005. During this time, she became passionate about the field of orthodontics and went on to complete the Baylor College of Dentistry orthodontics residency program and master’s degree in 2005. Dr. Kanabar started Walnut Central Orthodontics from scratch in 2008, and has continued to experience tremendous growth and recognition in the field of orthodontics in DFW.
